Sapele
Mahogany Ribbon-Stripe |
Ribbon Stripe refers to
the beautiful straight grained quartered and rift sliced veneers used in
this product.
Our Premium Ribbon Stripe Sapele
plywood is applied to a BS1088 okoume marine plywood WBP substrate.
Typical boat applications for the Premium veneer product are for exterior decks and panels. *However it is not warranted for this use. Plywood is constructed with multiple face veneers edges together, which can not be guaranteed. The product must be heavily sealed on all sides and edges with proper marine varnishes. The standard grade thin veneer plywood is for interior use only.
Do not confuse this with Sapele throughout BS 1088 marine plywood. This Premium product has a BS1088 core, but the panel as a whole is not BS1088 certified. The
certified BS1088 product is rotary cut and does not have the ribbon stripe
appearance. |

***CONTACT US FOR MOST ACCURATE FREIGHT PRICING*** Due to recent changes in the freight industry, our website is currently not able to provide accurate freight prices. Most freight prices on our shopping cart are for residential delivery and are at higher rates than available. We normally can lower the freight price, especially for commercial delivery or for pick up at the freight terminal. There is a minimum freight/crate price for a small quantity of plywood of $190 ($95 freight +$95 crate) for midwest US delivery to a full commercial address or pick up at the freight terminal. Most shipments are at least $250-$300 freight/crate. (The $95 crate price is for a high quality fully protective OSB/plywood crate. We very rarely have any shipping damage.) Please contact us by phone or email or enter your complete info into the shopping cart with a note to check freight price. Please note if business delivery and name of business and if you have a forklift. Thank you. |
